Volunteers Wanted at Flatford and Dedham:- We would like to organise a rota system with volunteers living at the Dedham and Flatford end of the river to operate the Locks.
If you could help, or know of anyone who would be interested we would be pleased to hear from you. Full training would be given and each person operating the locks and would of course be covered under our insurance. Two people are required to be on duty at each opening, complete with lifejackets

Volunteers Wanted at Rushbanks Camp Site
Can you spend a couple of hours on a Saturday morning erecting tents down at the camp site.
This is a two person task so you wont be on your own, full training will be given.

Bures Mill:- Work has been completed by the EA in raising the footbridge at the Mill. This will allow safe passage underneath and avoid the portaging past the weir. A fish ladder has also been constructed to allow passage for the fish at all times along the river and not be obstructed by the mechanised weir.

Rushbanks Camp Site:- the site has now doubled its size together with a new layout for visiting campers
